Rental Terms & Conditions
You are kindly requested to read the following Naxos Auto Rent Terms & Conditions carefully.
1.Driver’s License
The Naxos Auto Rent Agency requires that renters have a European drivers license held at least for one year or a valid international driving license for at least one day (as long as the corresponding national one is held at least one year).
2.Minimum Age:
23 years old and 28 years old for the MPV’S/7seater’s
3.Minimum Rental Period:
Two days rental.
4.Rental Policy:
Rental prices are based upon calendar days.That means returning the car after 9:30 will count towards an additional rental day.
IMPORTANT!Reservations starting during the day for 24hours (example 14:00 to 14:00 or 17:00 to 17:00 etc) will not be accepted and will be cancelled.Rentals for 24hours will be valid only if rental period starts from early morning or from late evening.
5.Vehicle Insurance-CDW:
All Naxos Auto Rent vehicles are insured against liability to third parties (excluding authorized driver) for death and injury per victim/per accident up to 1.220.000 euro,material damages (excluding Naxos Auto Rent vehicle) per accident up to 1.220.000 euro.Renters may request collision damage waiver (CDW) with an additional daily charge.
(CDW)Collision Damage Waiver:The renters liability for damages to the rented vehicle can be reduced,as long as there is no violation of the Greek Traffic Law, with a maximum charge of 250 or 500 euro and a maximum charge of 1000 euro for the MPV’S-7seater’s
ATTENTION :There is no insurance cover if the driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substances.
ATTENTION :Damages to wheels, tires,windows,interior and under the car are the full resposibility of the renter and are not covered.
6.Fines for Traffic Violations:
The renter is fully responsible for any fines as a result of traffic violations or illegal parking that occurred during the rental period. Such matters should be reported immediately to Naxos Auto Rent
7.Not Allowed:
a)No vehicle is allowed to drive off road, on beaches or lakes. All vehicles (except jeeps) are not allowed to be driven on unpaved roads.
b)Transportation of persons or goods for monetary purposes.
c)Participation in car races.
d)Renting vehicle to a third party.
e)Driven by a third party (additional driver must be listed on the rental contract).
f)Transportation of heavy goods or luggage.
8.Rates:
Prices and offers are only valid for reservations through Naxos Auto Rent website.
Naxos Auto Rent reserves the right to change prices without any warning.
9.Taxes:
The required 24% VAT is included in the car rental rates.
10.Fuel:The renter is responsible for filling the gasoline tank of the rented car with fuel.
11.Delivery and Pickup Services:
Delivery and pickup to/from airport,port and hotel (not more than 5 kilometres from Naxos main town)are free of charge.
Please note delivery/collection of the car is free only if your accommodation is not more than five kilometres away from the Main town of Naxos.
12.Unlimited Mileage:
Unlimited.
13.Road Assistance
Emergency road assistance 24/7 free of charge.
14.Baby Seats:
Available on request,free of charge.
15.Cancellation Policy:
Deposit is fully refundable in case of cancellation up to 14 days prior to your arrival date.
If the cancellation date is less than 14 days prior to your arrival, the deposit is not refundable.Naxos Auto Rent reserves the right to cancel the reservation, in case of false statements data or lack of required documents (driving license , credit card etc. ) Transaction and other expenses that may occur are paid only by the customer.
16.Vehicle Availability:
Naxos Auto Rent reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
17.Data Protection:
Our site treats all personal information as confidential and shall not disclose such information to any third party (natural or legal person) for any reason except the relevant provisions of the law and to the relevant authorities. Your personal data will not be notified to any other person or company for commercial purposes.
